REVISION DAYS
GCSE Maths Easter Revision Days
For GCSE students, the two week Easter break is one of the most important dates in the calendar as its the last break students get from school before the start of their GCSE exams. Thats why the correct revision during this time is absolutely crucial if students are to succeed and its important students make the most of this time.
Every year we host our annual GCSE Maths Easter Revision Days that takes place in Staffordshire over two days during the Easter holidays.
They aim to inspire and boost confidence as student approach the final few weeks before their GCSE Maths exams and ensure students are fully prepared for the challenges and rigour of the exams.

These days are a great way of getting a lot of your maths revision done early but expect to be worked hard and the revision is structured for you with the emphasis in the right places. It is designed and delivered by our founder Shabbir who is a highly qualified maths teacher and has many years of experience both teaches and tutoring GCSE Maths students.

We limit the number of places to ensure all the students get time with the teacher on a 1-to-1 level where they can ask about anything they would like further assistance with.
"We asked Kapasi Maths Tutoring to run some Easter holiday revision sessions...the days were run with high quality resources and expert subject knowledge. The pupils got a lot out of them"

OUTLINE OF THE DAYS
Over the two days, many topics are covered from the GCSE Maths curriculum. The topics selected are done so after careful consideration and are based on the topics that the students attending the course struggle with the most. During the registration process, attendees are asked to provide a list of topics they would to learn more about during the course.

Due to a much greater emphasis on testing problem solving skills in these new 9-1 GCSE exams, students are coached on how to apply the basic understanding of each topic to mathematical problems presented in a variety of different ways so that by the end of the two days they can confidentally do this themselves.
Students will receive up to 5 hours of tutored revision per day and throughout each day student are given lots of tips on the best way to revise over the final few weeks before their exams. They are also given time to plan out their revision by putting together a revision timetable to ensure they have spent an adequate amount of time revising for each of their exams and as a result achieve good grades in all subjects.
For the last hour of each day, students get an opportunity to work through an exam paper so that they can attempt to apply the things they have learnt, in an environment where they will be able to ask each other as well as the teacher for support should they need it. Model answers are provided with each exam paper so that students can check their answers should they wish to complete the rest of the paper in their own time.
