GCSE Maths Tutor
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in History and Politics from the University of Staffordshire, Angela went on to complete Foundation Studies in Art and Design. Since then she has taken on various different roles utilising her creative flare.
Notably, she has has a successful career in social care, working as a Project Worker where she worked with young offenders in Stoke-on-Trent developing and delivering art workshops. A few years later, Angela moved to the position of Assistant Social Worker for Stoke-on-Trent City Council where she worked for over a decade.
In 2018, Angela did some voluntary work within the Art Department at Newcastle-under-Lyme School. It was this that helped to forge her decision to change career and re-train as a teacher.
She obtained her Postgraduate Certificate of Education from Keele University and Qualified Teacher Status in 2021 with a specialism in Maths. Since then she has tutored students for maths on a 1-to-1 level from Key Stage 2 up to GCSE level. More recently she has delivered small group maths tutoring at a local secondary school through the National Tutoring Programme.
Angela’s interests include Art, Yoga and stand up paddle-boarding.
